In 2021, Jacobo García and Bibiana Pratginestós founded JBB ASSETS, a company dedicated to the buying, selling, and brokering of machinery. With over 20 years of experience in the market, we have established ourselves as experts in construction, mining and agricultural machinery.

We have a highly skilled team in various areas, including machinery trading, fleet renewal, transport, construction, and agricultural work, among others.

Our extensive knowledge and expertise allow us to offer specialized advice tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Our purpose? Helping our clients optimize their businesses by renewing, replacing and/or expanding their fleet. Through our international network, we manage to find the right machinery to meet our clients’ demands.

Jacobo Garcia

Founder

Jacobo began his career in 1997 when he joined Vilatel, a leading company in the access equipment rental market, which allowed him to quickly gain experience in the national sector in Spain.

In 2001, he started working for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, a highly recognized international machinery auction company. There, he combined his skills as a salesperson with his passion for machinery and international trade. Initially as a yard manager and becoming, a few years later, regional sales manager in Spain and Portugal for this firm.

Following his promotion within the company, in 2013, he was named Sales Vice President for Northern Europe, managing the UK, Germany, the Nordic countries, Benelux, and Poland.

In early 2015, he moved to the Netherlands, where Ritchie Bros’ European headquarters are located.

In 2018, he was promoted to Sales Vice President of the EMEA/LATAM/APAC markets, responsible for developing and integrating in Ritchie Bros. a new platform called IronPlanet.

Bibiana Pratginestós

Founder

Bibiana holds a degree in Business Management and Economics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. In July 1998, right after finishing her studies, she began working in the mobile crane and transport sector for GRUAS DEL VALLES S.A., where she developed her career across various departments, acquiring extensive experience in this field, and eventually becoming the financial director.

In 2011, she founded JBB ASSETS, S.L.U. based in Spain, entering the heavy machinery and transport trading market.

In 2013, she decided to update her resume with a Master’s Degree in Financial and Accounting Management, specializing in Controlling from UPF Barcelona School of Management.

It was in 2015 when he moved to the Netherlands, and in 2020 he began working in the heavy machinery sector in Europe.

In 2021, both decided to create JBB NL BV together, a company based in the Netherlands dedicated mainly to brokering machinery trade, expanding from operating solely in Europe to consolidating strong alliances with international partners. Thus, quickly expanding the company worldwide.

Between 2022-2023, they decided to broaden the group of companies, enlarging and diversifying their lines of business and creating the brand image of what Grupo JBB is today.

The group currently operates in numerous countries: Spain, Netherlands, India, UAE, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Nordic countries, Turkey, China, etc.
